Here is a brief history of our company, Bayko Concrete Service, Inc.

1961 - Bayko Concrete Service was started in Grand Rapids, Michigan by Bernard (Bernie) Bajko. The company was then called Bernard P. Bajko Concrete Contractor

1968 - He started working in Northern Michigan and largely in the Boyne City area

1969 - The company was incorporated as Bayko Concrete Service, Inc.

1991 - Mike Bajko, a second generation concrete professional, purchases the business and has been operating it ever since.

Mike started working for his father at the age of 13 and was given more responsibilty as he got older. Mike received an Associate Degree in Applied Science Concrete Technology from Alpena Community College in Alpena Michigan in 1985 and was the recipient of the Jesse Besser Award for 1984-1985 from Alpena College
